Travelling as a means of Education:
I’m a big believer in travel teaching kids (and adults) many things that the classroom is unable to. We’ve had plenty of education in action: history lessons in Washington DC and Colonial Williamsburg, Geography lessons in the Maldives and Iceland and Biology lessons in Borneo. Plus, you get to realise that you occupy one tiny section of the globe – your way is not the only way – and that’s one of the most important lessons out there!
14. “Not all classrooms have four walls.” – Author Unknown
15. “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” – Mark Twain, author

There’s no better adventure than travel. Expect the unexpected, immerse yourself and go with the flow. One of my favourite sayings is ‘A change is as good as a rest’ – and it’s so true, you’ll feel ready to take on the world after a change of scenery and a bit of adventure.
